Self-guided or guided tours are available of the museum.  Groups should call ahead to make a reservation.  Begin at the library's circulation desk on the second floor.

Anytime: Self-guided Walking Tour of Burholme Park                     

Explore the history and splendor of Burholme at your own pace with our walking tour. Free copies are available outside the mansion in a box near the front steps or in the library at the circulation desk.

 First Saturday of Each Month:  Friends of Ryerss Used Book Sale

11:00am  to 2:00pm -   Visit the book sale room in the basement for great deals on used books of all kinds.

Second Saturday of Each Month:  Friends of Ryerss Monthly Meeting

10:00am  to 11:00am

Second Saturday of Each Month:  Crafty Kids in the Children's Library

1:00pm to 2:30pm-  Kids, make a fun project each month under the direction of Ryerss staff. Children must be accompanied by an adult.   FREE

Last Saturday of Each Month:  Burholme Stamp Club Meets

1:00PM  to 3:30PM. Lectures, stamp bucket and stamp discussions in the gallery. FREE

Last Sunday of Each Month: Fox Chase Reading Series Meets

1:30PM to 3:30PM - Poetry readings by visiting and local poets in the gallery. FREE - No meeting in July or August. 


May 11th:  Calling all Park Lovers - Burholme Park Clean-up for Love Your Park Week

10:00 to Noon:  Meet near the museum with your energy and enthusiasm to help the Friends of Ryerss spruce up the park. Gloves and tools will be provided.

 May 11th:  Plants and Flowers for Sale on the Porch for Mother's Day.

10:00 to Noon:  Terra Innovations of Stern Farms will bring their posies from their New Jersey farm to Ryerss' porch so you can delight your mother.

 May 11th:  Fantastic Fans - See and Make a Fabulous Fan

1:00pm to 2:30pm  This is a family activity. Look at the exotic fans in the Ryerss' collection and then make one for your mother (or grandmother or yourself)for Mother's Day.  Meet in the library. FREE


11:00 to 2:00: Animal rescue groups for cats, dogs, rabbits, rats, and horses will gather around the outside of the museum for this annual extravaganza. Pooches on parade at noon and treats for animals and humans will all be on hand.FREE

May 19th:  Burholme Stamp Club Stamp Show

10:00 to 3:00: Burholme Stamp Club members will have their stamps on display on the first floor of the museum. Free
